About

Founder-led. Metolius Health is customer zero.

A sales CRM built by someone who was already doing the job it does — and tested first on the book he could not afford to break.

The river he is from

Welaka is built by Andrew Eriksen.

The name is not a branding exercise. Welaka is the original name of the St. Johns — a blackwater river in North Florida, tea-dark with tannin, cypress on both banks. It is the founder's home water. The word means river of lakes: one continuous flow that widens into pools and keeps going.

It is also a river that flows north, against the direction every map assumes. That is not a metaphor we reached for. It is the river he is from, and it happens to describe the thing we built: it moves an enormous amount of water without appearing to hurry, and it does not stop at night.

The name is carried as homage to that river. Not as a theme.

Why healthcare first

Every horizontal CRM asks your reps to be the healthcare-data researcher.

A rep working a physician practice needs to know the NPI. The contact record does not have it. They need to know what the practice actually bills against — the record does not know that either. They need to know the specialty codes, the credentialing shifts, the hiring signals, the state filings. So the rep opens six tabs and rebuilds, by hand, a picture the industry already publishes. Then they do it again next quarter, because nothing they learned went back into the system.

That is not a tooling gap. It is a data-spine gap. The CRM does not know the healthcare provider graph, so the human has to be the graph.

The other half of the market — the CRMs that are built for healthcare — are built for the patient-provider relationship. They are good at that. They are not sales tools, and they were never trying to be.

So we went at the missing one: an AI-native sales CRM whose spine is the provider graph. The AI works overnight because the graph is already wired. The graph does the researching. The rep does the selling.

Customer zero

Metolius Health is customer zero.

Metolius is a healthcare venture with a real B2B sales team selling into real practices, and it is where Welaka was pressure-tested before it was a product anyone could buy. Not a pilot arranged for a case study. The first book Welaka ever worked was one where a bad morning brief cost somebody a real deal.

That is the whole claim, and we are going to be careful about how far we stretch it. Metolius is Welaka's first customer and anchor design partner — not a parent company, not a holding structure, not a logo we are renting for credibility. Welaka is a standalone CRM. It is named for a different river than Metolius is, on purpose.

What customer zero actually bought us: every pillar in this product survived contact with a sales team that could not tolerate a tool that lies. Current produced briefs somebody read at 7am and acted on. The Run had to be worth opening before the reps' own spreadsheet. Coach Queue had to earn a manager's trust before it earned a manager's calendar.

That is the reference. We are not going to dress it up as more than one company.
